Principal, Stores Tech Finance

This role will be the finance lead to partner with Amazon’s IT software portfolio optimization strategy, managing the evaluation, negotiation, and optimization of $2.3B+ in third-party software investments across Amazon IT, AWS, and Amazon Procurement organizations. The position will architect frameworks for usage-driven contract optimization, centralized contract management, and AI-powered procurement analysis to drive significant cost savings while establishing sustainable cost management processes. The role requires cross-organizational influence without direct authority, partnering with IT sourcing teams, procurement organizations, and business stakeholders globally to challenge established norms and drive portfolio rationalization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  - 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
  - Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBA, or CPA
  - Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
